THE HISTORY OF SOVEREIGN TRUTH

Evangelist Jones stirred audiences to praise God and worship Him in song and the spoken word which followed was impactful. The word was life-changing to those who heard. Young people developed an appetite for God. Older people were encouraged to hold on to their faith harder. Doubters began to consider God and accept His son Jesus. While traveling and ministering, many attendees asked questions where the travel schedule? How can I learn more? Can we pray together? So after inquiring of God, Evangelist Jones understood her place in the kingdom of God better. She realized some people want to know how to live a life pleasing to God. Others want to know how to talk with God. Many more wanted to know about successful spiritual tools to be used in Christian life while living in an evil world. 

Once God gave clearance and strategy, Sovereign Truth was born.  A weekly TV broadcast, teaching 4 days a week to thousands, a bi-annual women’s conference, monthly deep study classes, weekly 15 minute audio/video for lunch has grown in attendees and Christian spiritual empowerment. The calling and election is sure with Evangelist Jones. She does not brag about her accomplishments because she is keenly aware it’s by God’s grace and mercy she is being used for this time. The praise and glory goes to God who has used Evangelist Jones to usher people to give their lives to the Lord, share their testimony of overcoming obstacles, or deliverance in an area. She is one of the vessels God has chosen to use and the evidence is the lives improved.

Deshaundra Jones dedicated her life to the Lord at a young age and was filled with the Holy Spirit as a  

teenager. She has been a licensed and ordained Evangelist Missionary since 1999 and was licensed and ordained as an Elder by Apostle Cook in 2009. For years, she has actively lived for the Lord and won souls to Him. She has collaborated with pastors to strengthen women’s ministries throughout Texas, assisting in faith building and teaching solid Christian principles across several platforms. Evangelist Jones utilized God’s gifts to fortify the kingdom of God. She is a business owner, a member of the Business and Professional Women’s Federation, a civic participant, a recipient of an MA degree, a former elected official, and a newspaper writer. Apostle Lockhart can be found serving as hospital chaplain, treasurer/speaker to women’s groups, teacher to weekly phone conference participants, minister in state prisons to male/female prisoners and much more. What We Believe

The Trinity (God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son & the Holy Spirit) to be all-powerful and all-knowing, yet each having distinct roles but totally God. Three in one.


Jesus was the Word wrapped in flesh, born of virgin Mary, who came to seek & save mankind from sin for fellowship with God. The only perfect sacrifice qualified to redeem mankind, with His precious blood. 


Jesus is the only way to get to God. Jesus Christ is both human and divine. Jesus is the head of the church and governs it. All believers, regardless of title, should actively seek to follow His commands, leadership and example.

Those who die in Christ will inherit eternal life. Those who do not accept Jesus Christ will live eternally separated from Father God.
